ANNE E. RAYMOND
Anne E. Raymond has been with Jackson & McPherson, L.L.C. since 1998 and became a Member in 2006. Her practice includes real estate law, title insurance, wills and probate, foreclosures, condominium formation, business law and secured transactions. She specializes in mortgage servicing representation, currently supervising the firm’s real estate foreclosure and default servicing department. She is admitted to practice in the Louisiana and Texas State Courts, the Federal District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
She earned her B.B.A. at the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. She graduated cum laude in 1998 from the University of Houston Law Center earning her J.D. and the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Law Student. In 1998, she also received her M.B.A. with highest honors from the University of Houston.
Anne is President-Elect of the Louisiana Land Title Association of which she has been a member for many years having served on its Legislative Committee since 2009. She is currently the Co-Chair of that Committee. She was first elected to its Board of Directors and installed at its annual convention in December 2010. Anne is President-Elect of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Title Attorneys. Anne served on the Board of Directors of New Orleans Commercial Real Estate Women (2005-06), of which she was a charter member. Anne is a member of the American Legal & Financial Network (ALFN) and Louisiana Bankers Association.
Anne has been recognized as a New Orleans Best Lawyer in Real Estate Law 2010, 2012, 2013.
